Carrying on

Sometimes we feel little to no momentum, remember there is no right or wrong way to carry on, just a way.

This message was meant for us today

This morning, I was on the shoreline and discovered another message in a bottle, another quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson.

“We were together, I forget the rest”

This directly addresses my instictual need to seek privacy, avoiding uncomfortable things as some sort of defence mechanism and to balance this perspective by diving deeper.

Sometimes we become small, sometimes we lash out in anger, sometimes we are not the best version of ourselves. All we know is ourselves, and how our way feels in each moment.

If some way to carry on doesn’t make sense in this moment, there is always a different way.  A way to carry less weight, a way to carry on differently with our thoughts, and our actions, and even when we don’t feel like we are getting anywhere, there is a way to honor and acknowledge the fact that we are carrying on.

You are not alone. There is enough wisdom in the universe and in your heart to keep carrying on.
