No-Nonsense movement goals for senior’s lifestyle: Quality arguments 1 and 2

How to get specific about what your practice is teaching you so you can focus on what is most important.

The debate over quantity versus quality:

Quality is more important than quantity of movement, when considering safety or efficiency. Here are two reasons why:

1) If you focus on quantity you might not meet you own expectations on the busier days. If you focus on doing the best you can and maintaining the habit you succeeds simply by showing up.

2) More practice=more learning

This can work for or against you. Inefficient patterns of movement and unhelpful ways of thinking will take more time and effort to relearn.

If you are following our great island adventure, you  might know that last week we failed to signal a ship passing by.  Our greatest opportunity for future success is by improving the efficiency of our movements.
